Can I make espresso with a coffee machine?

espresso coffee machines
Passion (exams!) (is sick) asked:

Then how the hell can I make espresso with out an espresso machine?
I have a coffee machine like this one:

Does this make espresso or will I have to bring an espresso machine?

You can use espresso coffee in it, and it will certainly be stronger than regular coffee, but it won’t be espresso. Espresso has to be steam brewed and will be much stronger than something a Mr. Coffee can make.

You can buy a really cheap stove-top espresso brewer:

No. What you have will not make espresso. You can put more coffee grounds in it and brew it to make a stronger coffee, but it isn’t the same.

There are plenty of combo machines that can make espresso and lattes as well as coffee. They are not too expensive, take a look at - it has a list of good machines.
