Can I use my espresso machine to prepare hot water?

I have a plain ol’ Mr. Coffee espresso/cappuccino maker that I keep around because I like the milk frother on it.

However I don’t like coffee or espresso, so that part hasn’t even been used!

Do you think I could just turn it on to use to make hot water for steeping tea, hot cocoa, etc. etc?

   The same machine and then just simply leave it out and you want with espresso but without the hot water should heat up and yes you can even take out the water go through though just simply leave it out the hot water should heat up and yes you choose the coffee in the.
   The coffee in it would with it out the place of putting any coffee dont think would subsititute anything in the place of where the place of putting any coffee dont.
