Espresso Machine Waters Down The Coffee Ground?
I got an espresso machine for Christmas(woo!) and have drank way too many shots over the course of the past few days trying to refine my espresso making skills … unfortunately, I think they got worse!
I have the “Espressione 1329 CafĂ© Roma” (I will link to it at the bottom). My problem is this … if it even is a problem … I grid the coffee beans, put them in the coffee-ground-holder-thing and tamp it down. I press the espresso button and wait as the water is filtered through and produces espresso. Yay!. issue is, the coffee grounds in the filter thing are heavily watery and I am pretty sure they should not be so …
A) Is this a bad thing?
B) What does the watery status of the coffee grounds do to the quality of the shots?
Thanks!

I clean my filter all the time … at least, I think its the filter I am cleaning! Thanks for the advice though =)
