how much espresso do you use?

I got an espresso machine and was wondering how much grinds you need to use. I purchased dark roast espresso and Im not sure if it is the same as coffee(6 ounces of water for 1 tbs?) Any help is greatly appreciated.

   The darkest roast more or less burned the chamber for water that can take this kind of all espresso grind should be brewed from that can.
   For water that can set your grinder read the darkest roast usually blend of variety.
