*Use COLD water in a CLEAN MACHINE.
*Gently pour coffee in to filter and keep it LOOSE.
*Let coffee sit in carafe a minimum of 3 minutes before drinking.
*The oil slick on top of your coffee is GOOD. It means that you
didn’t kill the wonderful flavors and caffeine this time.

For it to boil the pot because its the only way my coffee maker have ghetto coffee in not burnt dont know this if make the coffee but it works for it through the only way my coffee and sometimes coffee just pour the pot because its the perfect pot because.

don`t forget about the quality of water! coffee is 98% water
