The top of the machine is not open…..there are bars of sort crisscrossing the top…making it impossible to put my hand in, or even a scrubber or rag. When I look inside the machine I can see the milk gunk but rinsing it out will not get it out. Please help!!

I know how to clean and de-odorize the water basket, but how should I go about cleaning the inside? Usually when I clean my regular coffee maker, I just use denture cleaning tablets in the water basket and run it through the brewing cycle a few times with clean water.
